Hello my name is Corey Keith. In July of 2005 my wife and I moved from Arlington, VA to begin a new adventure in Omaha, NE. I am currently involved in a couple of endeavors. First, Corkscrew Wine and Cheese is a retail store my wife and I are opening soon. Second, FancyLad Cakes is a part time effort to indulge my desire to make wedding cakes and other confections.

In a previous life back in Wasington, DC I worked at the Library of Congress. To this day I dabble in a little technology consulting for them. My work consisted of trying to find technical solutions to digital library problems. The two best publicly accessible examples of my work are the Veterans History Project and I Hear America Singing. METS, the Metadata Encoding and Transmission Standard was leveraged to encode digital object metadata in a standard XML encoded format for processing and display. A favorite tool for all this xml processing was Apache Cocoon.
